● CUTTING AND CHAMFERING
GBSP is a joint venture partner in a cutting and chamfering factory
in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu, China. GBSP purchases the 20' seamless and DOM
tube from our partner mill in Angjiagang. Then the tubes are cut and
chamfered in our facility. GBSP also tests critical dimensions at this
factory and keeps SPC data on the processes. The finished products are
coated in light oil then shipped to the US.
The plant maintains their cutting and
chamfering tools and their QC equipment. It also has TS16949
certification and has been audited by several major US and European
bushing manufacturers. The plant is now cutting and chamfering bearing
grade tube for bearings.
● DEVELOP A LONG TERM PARTNER
Chinese mills are only interested in one-shot deals. GBSP explains
to the mill that this is not how business is conducted in the US. GBSP
seeks a partnership with motivated US customers who are interested in a
long term production source in China.
● LONG TUBE LENGTHS
 Tube
lengths less than 19.15 ft are bundled and shipped via 20ft ocean
containers. Tube lengths 19.15 ft and greater are bundled and shipped
via 40 ft containers. Each long tube order can be produced, bundled and
tagged to the customers specifications. Furthermore, GBSP will negotiate
the most cost effective and time efficient delivery solution, and we
will track each shipment to the predestined location. |
